The SAMI HAT (ALSO KNOWN FOUR WINDS HAT) is four-cornered to represent the four corners of the earth, traditionally worn by the Northern Sami people from Finland, Norway and Sweden. Traditionally, the hat was blue to represent the sky and had white, yellow, or red trims.
The Punjabi suit (Also known as a form of Shalwar Kameez) is a Traditional dress of Punjab fertile region. The colours and a pattern of the SAMI hat is carefully embroidered into the suit to represent a cultural blend and diversity.
This form of waistcoat also otherwise known Waskat is popular among the political class of South Asia. Blue colour was chosen to match with white to represent Finnish Flag.
The Khussa (Pumps in English) dates back to the 16th century and the Mughal Empire has a rich and storied past. Traditionally, these shoes were luxurious items, heavily decorated with gold, silver, pearls, and precious stones.
Computer Design was created initially to understand the suitability of new pattern for the suit.
The treads were carefully matched with the Sami hat patterns.
The White & Blue cloth was chosen to represent Finnish Flag.
A skilled worker carefully embroidered the pattern onto the white fabric.
Once neck, chest and the arms were embroidered, the cloth was then cut into the required size.
The tailor then stitched the cloth together and added buttons.
